You are doing a new DC/DC power design. With a crazy deadline, without time for discussing timelines or quotations.

In any case, you need a small quantity and the cost of the tooling would be too high. Then, I'll ask you:

Why wouldn't you use a tested design instead of doing a custom one?

Custom designs are expensive and you need to make your numbers.

Yes, I know. There isn´t any design in the market that fits your expectations...maybe that was true, when magnetic drawings were in paper and it wasn't possible to filter.

But now...we have created 🚀🚀"The Library" 🚀🚀of magnetics for Frenetic users.

👉 You can simulate and order a lot of designs that are ready to be shipped to you 🚙. 

There are great manufacturers and engineers building magnetics which will be in our Library for you.

We just launched the Library and we have included designs from WE and Frenetic designs for App note of Infineon.

And there is something else.

We have created "The Finder". 🔍

An algorithm for suggesting you a design of the Library for your specifications. 

Let's take an example, I'm designing a Buck converter with an inductor of 22 uH and 5 A of DC with FO and I ask for some suggestions.

Then, the system will suggest me some custom designs and designs from the Library.

Since, there is a 22 uH design in the library which also could have a great performance in terms of losses for this design, the Finder suggests a 22 uH design from WE, which has even higher efficiency than the custom suggestions. You can see how this component behaves in your circuit avoiding expensive hardware iterations!! 💪🏻💪🏻

If you want to simulate the losses of your magnetics, ask your manufacturer to upload their designs  and you could simulate them.
