The Simulation Stage 🚀 

The simulation stage for a modern Power Electronics engineer is very important. Currently, there are a lot of great tools in the market for doing the simulation of the circuit in time domain (LTspice, PSIM..) and moving to frequency domain and close the loop (Plecs, simulink...Matlab). In high power applications, where models of motors or turbines need to be simulated, HIL (Hardware in the Loop) tools like Typhoon or Plecs allow engineers to simulate larger systems with high precision.

However, none of these tools connect the simulation with the Hardware stage. From my point of view, the most important stage. For this reason, we created Frenetic, to connect magnetic simulations with hardware samples. This accelerates 90% the time to market of your products, but still engineers need to run circuit simulations. Therefore, I decided to include an Online Circuit Simulator in Frenetic. You can run your online simulations in milliseconds and export the waveforms to the Magnetic Simulator.

We are in process of automating this process, but in the meantime, you can see in the video below how I'm able to run a time domain simulation and export the waveform to Frenetic to get my magnetics.
